Folio (345 x 205 mm). [pi]1 A-Ll4 Mm6 Nn4. Double column. Text in Latin and Hebrew. Woodcut device on title, woodcut initials, head and tail pieces. Period speckled calf, rebacked. Title darkened at edges with a few small holes in blank margins, minor worming and old faint dampstaining to margins.
Provenance: [Edward Pusey] (Bibliotheca Puseiana Oxon inkstamp to front pastedown endpaper); Richard Wilson, D.D. (bookplate).

A re-issue of the lexicon appended to the Spiraculum Tubarum of 1633, originally authored by Valentin Schindler. How Thorndike came to be attributed authorship is a tangled tale: see Jones, "The History of a Hebrew Lexicon," The Library (1914) s3-V (20): 410-423. STC (2nd ed) 21817.5.
