8vo (159 x 106 mm). +6 A-3F8 3G2. Period vellum, spine lettered in manuscript. Waterstained, title worn and with inkstamp to verso.

RARE FIRST EDITION, being a dictionary of virtues (abstinence to vita aeterna) and vices (adultery to usury) intended as an aid in the composition of sermons and compiled by the later Bishop of Senigallia. Each entry includes extensive commentary and Biblical citations.
