[14], XLVIII, [18], 236, [8], 112, [4], 92, [8], 160, [2], 188; [18], 326, [56] pp. Engraved portrait of the author, engraved vignette to titles, dedication, headpieces, engravings throughout the text, 26 full-page plates and 2 folding plates. Later half vellum over boards, spine titled in ink. Some browning and light foxing, hinges cracked, general wear to binding.
