[xlii pp.], 1346 columns; [ii pp.] 1272 columns; [ii pp.], 1196 columns; [ii pp.], 292 columns. Frontispiece portrait of the author. Period mottled calf, rebacked preserving original gilt spine, corners restored. Browning and light foxing, small wormtrail in fore-edge margin of several signatures of first volume, binding with general wear.
