4to (247 x 161 mm). ¶4 A-3K8 3L4. Woodcut printer's device on title page, title within borders, woodcut initials, head and tail pieces. Period vellum elaborately tooled in blind, manuscript spine titles, raised bands, clasps. Minor toning and some scattered faint foxing, period ownership signature to title, some soiling to boards, a clean copy overall.

Attractive 16th-century copy of Estienne's celebrated encyclopedia.
