Oblong 8vo (187 x 275 mm). Engraved title and 20 engraved plates. String bound in limp vellum. Waving to vellum and sheets, tiny hole to one plate, minor wear to a few margins.
Provenance: Property of a California educational institution.

SCARCE COLLECTION OF ENGRAVINGS OF ROMAN RUINS AND ARCHITECTURE. Our search of auction records finds only one complete copy (and one incomplete) having come to auction in the last fifty years. 14 of the plates are signed in the plate by Cock; the title by C. Dankerts; 1 by both Cock and Dankerts; and 5 unsigned.
