4to (233 x 163 mm). [pi]4 +4 A-T4. Engraved coat of arms on title, full page woodcut portrait, woodcut initials, head and tailpieces. Modern quarter vellum and marbled boards. Spotting to last few leaves, first two leaves bound somewhat close.
Provenance: Bernardine Murphy (bookplate).

Second edition, expanded from the first of 1641, of the history of the city of Montepulciano, written by the first bishop of that diocese.
