(i) PORTRAIT BY MARK GERSON (b. 1921), vintage photograph, silver print, head and shoulders, looking into the camera, signed by Mark Gerson on the mount and inscribed 'London', photographer's stamp on the verso, framed and glazed, size of image 7 x 5 inches (18 x 13 cm), overall size 12 ½ x 10 inches (32 x 25 cm), May 1965

An example of this image is in the National Portrait Gallery.

(ii) AUTOGRAPH MANUSCRIPT OF HIS POEM 'STONES OF ARGYLL', signed ('William Plomer'), 18 lines in three six-lines stanzas, beginning 'Clans, claymores, cackle about battles...', with ten autograph revisions taking the poem to its final form as printed in Collected Poems, 1973, 1 page, quarto, not dated
