the bone grips with chased and granulated silver panels, the quillons with inscriptions on either side, the brown leather scabbard with chevron design, with mounts in silver with floral decoration

The inscriptions consist of, on one side, the bismallah; on the other, Qur'an, sura LXI, al-Saff, part of verse 13.
