of bulbous form with short neck and loop handle, the decoration carved through a black slip under a turquoise glaze, the body with a bold frieze of inscription with palmettes, below a solid band, the neck with a band of vertical lines, the base with old inventory number, 15 cm. high; and An underglaze painted pottery Ewer, Persia, 13th Century, with globular body, truncated neck with elongated spout, handle with thumb rest, decorated in black under a turquoise glaze, iridescence
