Punjab, late 19th Century

square, the ground divided into four sections in red, green, crimson and turquoise, the central field embroidered in silver and gilt threads with a large roundel and kunjboteh in the corners and a large flowering boteh in the centre of each side, the ground profusely embroidered with floral sprays, two sides fringed and with borders with paired boteh and stylised flowerheads and the other two sides with a honeycomb design
