Text printed in Persian and French in black and gold on vellum, interspersed with gilt medallions and semi-medallions decorated with arabesques, slightly browned otherwise in good condition, in a contemporary blue leather binding, covers of turquoise and lapis lazuli-coloured satin woven with the Imperial emblem in gold, with a photocopy of the official programme in English
230 x 135 mm.

Footnotes

The lavish menu included: crayfish mousse, roast lamb with truffles, quail's eggs stuffed with caviar, roast peacock stuffed with foie gras, and a sorbet of vieux champagne (Moet 1911), prepared by Maxim's of Paris.
