Arabic manuscript on paper, 309 leaves, 15 lines to the page written in clear naskhi script in black ink with diacritics and vowel points in black, gold roundels decorated with alternating red and blue dots between verses, catchwords, illuminated devices in wide outer borders, gold rectangular panels between suras intended for the sura heading left blank, one double-page illuminated frontispiece in colours and gold, creased, some soiling and crude repairs, dark brown morocco gilt with stamped central medallions embossed with intertwining gilt decoration, spine crudely repaired with adhesive tape, worn, with flap
176 x 110 mm.
