Arabic manuscript on paper, 211 leaves, 7 lines to the page written in an elegant maghribi script in black ink, significant words such as Allah and Muhammad picked out in red, green and gold, inner margins ruled in green and red, catchwords in wide outer borders, titles within illuminated panels, four full-page illuminated panels decorated with geometric designs at beginning and end, text area of a few folios detached from outer borders, some tears to inner margins, some waterstaining, contemporary brown morocco with covers richly tooled in gold, worn, doublures of marbled paper, with flap
95 x 97 mm.
