Arabic manuscript on paper, 117 leaves, 18 lines to the page written in prose and verse in neat maghribi script in black ink, significant words and sentences in red and gold, gold dots between verses, inner margins ruled in blue and gold, catchwords in wide outer borders, occasional commentaries written horizontally and diagonally in red and black ink, one full-page illuminated panel at beginning decorated with geometric designs in colours and gold incorporating the name of the author and the title, ink now diffused causing discoloration of paper, some splits affecting the text on a few folios, contemporary reddish-brown morocco gilt with stamped central medallions of green leather onlay, upper part of spine damaged, some staining, with flap
224 x 174 mm.
