Persian manuscript on paper, 120 leaves, 15 lines to the page written in two columns of elegant nasta'liq script in black ink, intercolumnar rules in gold, heading panels left blank, one very fine illuminated headpiece in colours and gold, the preceding two leaves, and the final leaf with illuminated shamsas added later, worming and waterstaining restricted to lower outer border, Ottoman brown morocco with stamped central medallion and cornerpieces of gilt leather onlay, doublure with stamped medallion of gilt leather onlay, lacking back cover
