Persia, dated the middle of Ramadan 974/end of March 1567

Persian manuscript on paper, 339 leaves, 19 lines to the page written in four columns of nasta'liq script in black ink, intercolumnar rules in gold, inner margins ruled in colours and gold, catchwords, titles in gold, blue and red, 8 illuminated headpieces in colours and gold, some folios remargined, waterstaining mostly restricted to outer margins, some crude repairs affecting small areas of text towards end, later red morocco with stamped medallions
263 x 175 mm.
