Arabic manuscript on paper, 439 leaves, some folios towards the beginning silver-sprinkled, first folio later replacement, 15 lines to the page written in elegant naskhi script in black ink, the names Allah and Muhammad and other significant words and sentences picked out in red, catchwords, illuminated first folio a later replacement, one folio detached and now misplaced, edges frayed, some folios loose, waterstaining, some worming, later brown leather binding, worn and faded, repaired, doublures of patterned paper
163 x 100 mm.

Footnotes

A contemporaneous inscription on the last folio states that this manuscript was once owned by al-Hajj 'Abbas Effendi Farrash, dated AH 1149/AD 1736-37.
