An inkwell with the same blue enamel ground and similar stone settings, including the granulation around the central mount, attributed to the 17th Century, was sold at Sotheby's (Sotheby's, An Eye for Opulence. Art of the Ottoman Empire, London, 24th April 2012, lot 171).
