A fine Iznik pottery Plate
Turkey, circa 1575

with central spray of clasped red roses and other flowers contained within a heart-shape formed by two blue saz leafs, with plain cavetto and flat rim with a continuous band of half-rosettes on a blue ground; the reverse with six-paired tulips alternating with rosettes
29 cm. diam.
