comprising four rectangular tiles, framed vertically, each decorated in a turquoise glaze, depicting dogs hunting hares, framed together
the panel 74.5 x 35.5 cm.

This tiles comes from an important building that has, as yet, to be identified. Three other tiles from this series include: two tiles in the Louvre, Paris (L'Etrange et le Merveilleux en Terres d'Islam, Exhibition Catalogue, Musee du Louvre, Paris, 2001, no. 31); and another sold through these rooms (Bonhams, Islamic and Indian Art, 17th October 2002, lot 279).
