Arabic manuscript on cream-coloured paper, 104 leaves, 23 lines to the page written in clear naskhi script in black ink, significant sentences, words and numbers picked out in various colours such as purple, orange, blue and green, catchwords, a short prayer to the Prophet, Allahuma sali 'ala sayyiduna Muhammad wa alihi wa sahbihi wa sallam, written in the upper corner of each page, numerous diagrams, rather browned, edges frayed, contemporary brownish-red morocco with stamped central medallions and borders decorated with stylised serrated leaves, floral and vegetal motifs, edges repaired, rebacked, with flap
