Four line inscription:
baraka/ li-'abd Allah/ Hisham Amir/ al-mu'minin
"Benediction/ for the Servant of God/ Hisham Commander/ of the Faithful"

With the names and titles of the Caliph Hisham, only a single glass weight has been published (Abdel-Kader 1939, 2, 2,35gr.). Another fragment from this die is Lot 197 and an unpublished dated vessel stamp in the name of Hisham (Lot 198).
