the steel barrel decorated in silver inlay with a series of bands of semi-circular foliate motifs highlighted at the muzzle and lock end in gold, the breach decorated in gold inlay with a palmette motif surrounded by inscription and a band of interlaced foliate vines, the lock stamped maker's mark T.C.W.L (?)
