The pieces include sheets of notepaper and envelopes, many with illuminated embossed headings in the names of: Zill al-Sultan, dated AH 1302/AD 1884-85); Nasir al-Din Shah, dated AH 1313/AD 1895; Muzaffar al-Din Shah, dated AH 1313/AD 1896 (Nasir al-Din Shah was murdered in this year, which means they belong to the last year of his reign and the first of Muzaffar al-Din Shah's); a sheet of paper and an envelope with the [Qajar] Kiyani crown and the Persian flag; an envelope of the National Bank of Iran addressed to a German with Reza Shah Pahlavi's stamp and the date of 12. VI. 40; of the Royal Court of Muhammad Reza Shah Pahlavi; of his private office; the Ministry of Justice; a menu in Persian for lunch at Niyavaran Palace on 27 adhar 1352/18 November 1973, and another in English for dinner on 19 November 1976; and a private note from the then Minister of Court Asadullah 'Alam to Minister of Culture Muhammad Derakhshesh; and two unused pay slips, probably of the early 20th Century.
