A 'chicken bone' jade tripod incense burner and cover
Qianlong
Of compressed globular form supported on three cabriole feet, each in the form of a paw issuing from the mouth of a taotie mythical beast, the bulbous body intricately worked at the waist with a band of archaistic taotie motifs below a band of keyfret scroll at the mouth rim, flanked at each side by mythical beast handlea in high relief, all beneath a cover worked with additional taotie motifs, surmounted by a coiled dragon reticulated knop, the burnt stone exhibiting various shades of russet-brown with splashes of grey, sepia and magenta.
20.7cm across handles. (2).

清乾隆 沁色玉獸面紋仿古蓋爐
鈣化玉呈雞骨白色，質感細膩。鈕為鏤雕正面盤龍紋，蓋面飾獸面紋，口沿飾回紋一周，口沿下飾一周凹槽，內有陰刻如意紋，腹兩面飾淺浮雕獸面紋，與蓋獸面相對應，三短獸足，每足上雕有一獸首，兩側雕獸首耳，雕工精細，匠心獨韻。
此香爐上所飾紋飾，具有乾隆仿古紋飾的特點，對比參看另一件相同紋飾的碧玉仿古簋例子，見Stanley C. Nott，《Chinese Jade Throughout the Ages. A Review of Its Characteristics, Decoration, Folklore and Symbolism》， 日本，1962，頁143，圖版CXVIII。
