An 1837 Pattern Rifle Officer's Presentation Sword

With bright tapering fullered blade etched with symmetrical designs of foliated strapwork over half its length on each side, one side with crowned 'GRV' cypher, and on the other with crowned vacant cartouche, slug bugle horn and the presentation inscription, nickel-plated gothic hilt incorporating slug bugle horn within a laurel wreath and complete with its black leather sword-knot, and wire-bound fishskin-covered grip, in its nickel-plated scabbard with two rings for suspension, and in fine condition
