A Prussian 1852 Model Cavalry Sword, And Two Continental Military Swords
19th Century

The first with bright slightly curved fullered blade (cutting edge nicked), regulation steel hilt with pierced half-basket guard, lobed rear quillon, pommel and back-piece in one, and ribbed leather grip (binding missing), in original steel scabbard with suspension ring (hilt and scabbard with light pitting); the second each with fullered blade (worn and rust patinated) double-edge at the point and etched with martial trophies and foliage on both sides of the forte, regulation brass hilts sparsely cast and chased with foliage and including double shell-guard, the inner one folding, faceted pommels with spherical terminals, and turned swelling wooden grips (3)
