An Extremely Rare Guidon Of An Unidentified Scottish Yeomanry Regiment
Circa 1794 To 1816

Of single-sided long swallow-tailed form and of pale blue silk, finely embroidered in coloured silks and metal threads with central St. Edward's crown over 'GR' cypher and the thistle motto 'Nemo Me Impune Lacessit' (the last mostly missing), flanked by large multi-headed rose and thistle sprays, and retaining half of the original silver thread fringe (some fading, damage and restoration)
111 cm. x 56.5 cm. (framed and glazed)
