Signed Bishu Osafune Sukesada, Dated 1511

The blade with two mekugi-ana, suguha hamon, fully bound tsuka with shakudo fuchi and kabuto-gane engraved with scrolling foliage, gilt menuki each in the form of three gold coins, aoi-shaped iron tsuba inlaid with leaves in silver, copper and brass and fitted with shakudo dai-seppa engraved with scrolling foliage and signed '... Naomichi', in its black ishime lacquered saya decorated in gold with foliage and Ho-ho birds, and with shakudo mounts en suite with the tsuka
