With two-stage barrel with bulbous muzzle set with a triangular piece of silver, long octagonal breech struck with counterfeit proof marks, and retained by numerous nielloed silver bands and slender silver wire bindings, small back-sight, characteristic lock struck with two marks, characteristic butt with linear engraved iron mounts and decorated with shaped overlaid nielloed silver panels against a ground of silver nails, opposite the lock en suite and set with three pieces of coloured glass, brass trigger-guard overlaid with nielloed silver set with a piece of red glass, and original iron ramrod with baluster tip (some wear overall)
