A 54-Bore Flintlock Box-Lock Pocket Pistol
Circa 1765

With turn-off cannon barrel, border engraved action decorated on both sides with foliage and rocailles, the left side centred in the initials 'W.W.' over 'S', ring-neck cock, trigger-guard engraved with a decorative oval on the bow, and figured flat-sided butt inlaid with silver-wire scrollwork and rocailles (some surface rust overall), private Birmingham proof marks
