The First Signed D. Leonard, The Second Signed Norfolk, Bury St. Edmunds, Both Mid-19th Century, The Last Late 19th Century

The first with hand-rotated turn-off barrels, border engraved breeches and action, the latter decorated with scrolling foliage and signed on the left side, dolphin hammer (chipped), folding trigger, chequered figured rounded butt, the ovoidal pommel cut with radiating lines centred on a vacant silver mount, and vacant silver escutcheon; the second with fluted rifled barrel, signed rounded action (defective) decorated with scrolling foliage, folding trigger, chequered rounded butt, and vacant white-metal escutcheon, Birmingham proof marks; the last of characteristic form, with fluted barrels, border foliate engraved action (defective), folding trigger, hinged loading-gate, and chequered rounded grips (cartridge-extracting rod missing, all with some wear and rust patination overall) (3)
