With twist damascus sighted barrels signed along the rib, long slender tang engraved with scrolling foliage, signed border engraved back-action locks, dolphin hammers, rounded action, under-lever, trigger-guard and butt-plate all decorated en suite, figured butt with chequered grip and detachable fore-end (minor split on the left side, barrel-bolt escutcheon missing), and silver escutcheon engraved 'Lord Charles Bruce' (worn and rust patinated): in associated lined and fitted leather case, the exterior with initials 'A.O.S.', London proof marks
