The First Mid-19th Century, The Remainder 19th Century

The first converted from flintlock, with rebrowned two-stage sighted barrel, grooved tang, engraved flat bevelled lock, figured half-stock (repairs) with chequered grip, steel mounts (fore-end cap missing) including shaped side-plate, and brass-tipped ramrod (some rust patination), London proof marks; the matchlocks each of characteristic form, one with brass-mounted fish-tail butt (repaired, all in poor condition) (4)
