A Rare 30-Bore Terry's Patent Breech-Loading Percussion Sporting Carbine

With browned twist sighted barrel (some surface rust patination) rifled with five grooves and with faint traces of maker's name and address along the top, folding adjustable back-sight, and indistinctly engraved 'Terry's Patent 30-Bore' above the border engraved loading aperture at the breech, foliate engraved adjustable sprung and hinged bolt, signed border engraved detented lock decorated with foliage and retaining some case-hardening, hammer decorated en suite, figured half-stock (some bruising) with chequered grip and fore-end, the latter with dark horn cap, foliate engraved steel mounts comprising butt-plate and trigger-guard, and sling mounts, Birmingham proof marks
