A Rare .36 Allen & Wheelock Navy Side-Hammer Six-Shot Percussion Revolver
No. 433, Circa 1858-1861

With octagonal sighted barrel stamped with maker's details and patent dates on the left flat, cylinder with roll engraved landscape scene inhabited by deer and a rabbit, frame (action defective) with grooved top-strap, hinged trigger-guard also forming the rammer, and figured rounded grips (some wear and pitting overall)
