A .32 Wm. Uhlinger Six-Shot Rim-Fire Pocket Revolver
No. 1174, Circa 1861-65

With octagonal sighted barrel, plain cylinder, frame (loading-gate replaced) with grooved top-strap, rounded spur trigger, butt, and figured rounded grips (some bruising, wear and light pitting overall, arbor-pin replaced)

These revolvers were an infringement of the Rollin White patent owned by Smith & Wesson. In order to avoid detection Uhlinger produced them under the trade names D.D. Cane, W.L. Grant and J.P. Lower. About half the production were unmarked as in this case
