Of rectangular section, each side graduated from '5' to '60' and engraved respectively 'Pheasants', 'Partridges', 'Hares' and 'Rabbits', the circular indicators of blued steel (surface rust), brass, copper and white-metal, and with an ivory cap at each end, one end with a ring for suspension carrying a chain terminating in an engraved brass seal, the circular blue glass face cut with a gamekeeper apprehending a poacher
