A Well-Made Continental Model Field Cannon And Limber
Late 19th Century

With brass barrel of tapering multi-stage form with raised mouldings, bell-shaped muzzle and punched foliate decoration overall, the first reinforce with applied white-metal portrait bust of a helmeted warrior, separate faceted lifting-handles, knob-shaped cascabel, and plain trunnions: on original iron-mounted wooden field carriage with cambered spoked wheels and solid tapering trail, the latter with elevating screw, the limber en suite and with iron-mounted munitions chest with hinged iron lid, together with a ramrod, cleaning rod and two brass-mounted buckets (2)
