A Medieval Axe-Head, And A Group Of Eight Medieval Daggers
Late 13th To Late 15th Century

All of iron and in excavated condition, the first with tapering downcurved single-edged blade balanced by an axe-head with crescentic cutting-edge, and each joined to the central socket drawn-out to a point above and below one both sides; the second comprising six each with tapering single-edged blade, two retaining their pommels, one with blade of tapering triangular section, and one with blade of flattened oval section (9)
