A German Or Austrian Hunting Sword And Dagger
Circa 1500

In excavated condition, the first with straight single-edged blade cut with a shallow narrow fuller along the back for most of its length on each side, small heart-shaped side-guard, and handle formed by the spatulate tang hollowed along one side and retaining the remains of three transverse pins for retaining the grip-scales (missing); the second with tapering single-edged blade and scallop-shaped side-guard (handle incomplete) (2)
