Early 20th Century

With bright double-edged blade of flattened diamond section, rectangular forte etched along one side with bamboo and maker's name in characters 'Lu Chu Ch'ang Ch'ui', and on the other with the inscription 'Lung Ch'uan Chien' (Dragon Spring Sword), hilt with shaped brass guard and pommel, and wooden grip covered in fishskin stained pink, in its brass-mounted wooden scabbard covered in fishskin stained black
