The first with fullered blade etched with foliage involving crowned cyphers and royal arms, regulation brass hilt incorporating pierced crowned 'VR' cypher, and fishskin-covered grip (wire binding missing), in its brass scabbard with two rings for suspension (some wear and denting overall); the second with slender fullered blade etched with symmetrical foliage involving crowned cypher on one side and crowned royal arms on the other, regulation steel hilt incorporating pierced and engraved crowned 'VR' cypher, and wire-bound fishskin-covered grip, in its steel scabbard with two rings for suspension (surface rust) (2)
