With tapering fullered double-edged blade (some pitting) etched over half its length on each side with a hunting trophy centred on scrolling foliage, hilt comprising iron guard cast as addorsed boar's heads, pommel cast as a lion's head, and swelling fluted horn grip, in original wood-lined black leather scabbard with iron locket and chape (some pitting), the former with leaf-shaped frog-hook; together with a Congolese dagger, late 19th/early 20th century, with flat double-edged blade widening at the point, pierced with four holes and with punched medial lines on each side, pierced ricasso with incised borders, and waisted wooden grip of circular section bound with iron ribbon, and an American machete, by Collins & Co., Hartford, no. 37, with brass-mounted leather grip, in its tooled leather scabbard stamped 'Collins & Co.' above the company logo and 'U.S. Signal Corps' (3)
