With plain russet barrels, nielloed silver-gilt tang covers, flat bevelled locks (light surface rust, one side-nail missing) each with roller and lightly engraved with foliage on the tail, heavy full stocks with bulbous pommels each with a silver crescent on a nielloed silver cap, a further silver crescent on the back of each butt, decorated overall with raised foliate panels nielloed with flower-heads and foliage against a finely punched and gilt ground, trigger-guards and muzzle-sleeves en suite, gilt triggers, false ramrods, and in fine condition retaining virtually all their original gilding (2)
