Three Decorative Indian Matchlock Guns
The Barrels 18th/19th Century

The first with 15-bore sighted barrel (fore-sight missing) slightly flared at the muzzle and retained by wire bindings, wooden full stock inlaid with mother-of-pearl foliage along each side against a blackened ground, the fore-stock and remaining surfaces veneered in numerous pierces of mother-of-pearl, and iron ramrod; the second of 20-bore, with wooden full stock painted in polychrome overall with foliage against a light brown ground; the last of 32-bore, with sighted barrel retained by three white-metal barrel bands, with wooden full stock entirely covered in white-metal embossed with flower-heads between diagonal lines of circles, the fore-stock left plain, and iron ramrod (3)
