A Rare Turkish Or Ottoman Spearhead
17th Century Or Earlier

Of iron, the tapering double-edged point with strong medial ridge along both sides and decorated at the base with symmetrical designs of silver-encrusted arabesques, integral tapering socket of hexagonal section between silver-encrusted bands and of swelling faceted form at the base, the latter pierced with two holes for attachment, and decorated overall en suite with the base of the point (rust patinated overall)
