A Rapier Of Duelling Type For A Boy
Late 17th Century

With tapering blade of flattened oval section stamped with letters and marks within the fuller on both sides of the forte, blackened hilt comprising guard of asymmetrical upturned shells each filled with a plate pierced with numerous small holes, vertically fluted quillon-block, slender quillons with fluted button terminals, arms, fluted oviodal pommel with button, and vertically ribbed grip bound with twisted iron wire between Turk's heads (some pitting overall)
