The blade with two mekugi-ana (one plugged), midare hamon, fully bound tsuka with shakudo-nanako fuchi and kabuto-gane with gilt and wave edges, soft-metal menuki in the form of seated figures, and rounded square ribbed iron tsuba, in its black lacquered saya inlaid with pine needles, the mounts en suite with the tsuka
